Easter jars tutorial
I made these a couple of years ago and have since remade them this year using the cheaper version of old jam jars. It's such a simple fun craft which I think is a nice way to wish friends and family a happy Easter with a handmade touch. What you will need: Green shredded paper A jar with lid Wrapped chocolate bunny Mini eggs Ribbon Easter paper cake toppers (optional) Decorative fluffy chicks 1 . Make sure the jar is clean and dry. 2. Layer in the green shredded paper to the jar and use a rolling pin or similar to compress the paper down. 3. Place your chocolate bunny in the centre of the nest and sprinkle mini eggs around it to help stabilise the bunny. 4. Add in a paper cake topper or two (I used a bunny one and an egg one). 5. Screw on the lid and cut a length of thin ribbon in a spring colour. Tie the ribbon around the lid and fasten with a bow. 6, Hot glue decorative chicks to the lid of the jar. Voila! Happy Easter everyone!
